Kessler KC-Lite 8.0 Camera Crane Rental

The Kessler KC-Lite 8.0 is a single-rail camera crane for lighter digital video or DSLR cameras under 10 pounds. The jib permits the camera to be moved vertically, horizontally, or a combination of the two. It is very useful for filming high shots, low shots, tracking, and vertical or horizontal pans. It requires no tools to set up and features 360-degree rotation.

Note: A tripod and camera are not included with the rental. A tripod with a fluid head is required for easiest operation. The crane utilizes the fluid drag of the head’s pan and tilt, giving the most fluid movement in all three modes of crane operation. We have suitable tripods available to rent separately.

The jib also requires a counterweight that is 1.8x the weight of the camera being used. For example, if you are using a 5-pound camera, you will need 9 pounds of counter weight. We include four 4-pound water weights with a funnel for filling along with 4 4-ounce fine tuning weights. You may also use standard weights if desired.
