Panasonic P2 Card 32GB Rental

This is a 32GB Panasonic P2 card for use in the HVX200 HD camcorder and other Panasonic P2 devices.

Note cards of this size may require firmware version 4.05 or higher on the HVX200 camcorder, and may require firmware updates on other camcorders as well. If you are using these cards with a camcorder not rented from us, please verify firmware version compatibility before renting.

Workflow and Transferring Footage

After recording footage to a P2 card with a P2 camcorder, you’ll transfer the footage to your editing system, or at least to a computer for storage. The easiest way to do this is to connect the camcorder to your computer using the USB cable (PC) or FireWire cable (Mac). The camcorder will appear on your computer as a removable disk, and you can simply transfer the files to your hard drive.

It’s also possible to use a P2 reader (rented separately) or a PCMCIA slot in a laptop to transfer the files. By inserting the P2 card in the PCMCIA slot and using the driver provided by Panasonic, the cards can be read directly without connecting the camera. This is useful if the camera is busy shooting and you need to offload one card while another card is in use.

You will be scheduled to receive the item on the "Receive on" date shown above. Delivery time depends on your local UPS route, and is rarely later than 6pm. You must re-ship the item via the included UPS pre-paid return label before 5pm on the "Reship on" date shown above. Days in transit, weekend days, and holidays are not charged and not counted as rental days. Only business days are shown above, because you can only receive or ship an item on a business day.
